A Very Speical Day

He turned 4 today, on Easter Sunday. It was a big day that started with him getting out of bed and saying "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!" Finally it was here. His 4th birthday. He came and found me and then ran to his dad and hopped into bed with him. "Dad, it's my birthday!" We sang Happy Birthday to him and then made him a french toast breakfast with little toast in the shapes of a star, train, bird and bear. Sang Happy Birthday to him again while he blew out 4 candles (twice as mommy forgot the camera the first time!!!!)

This was the day we have all been waiting for. Our little guy is now 4 and on Easter this year. We get to remember our Saviors resurrection and Celebrate Caleb's life. What a life his has. Full of smiles and fun and learning and love. He is one of the most sweetest kids you will ever know. I love how much he loves learning new things and how much he loves people. He has a heart like no other. And on his golden birthday today he was showered with love and family. He did the things he loves the most, laid in bed with daddy, went to church, hung out with family, played monster trucks and dug in the backyard. He even got to have an Easter egg hunt in the back yard and then felt the house shake by the 6.9 earthquake. I told him God was pleased to be celebrating his birthday with him!

Happy Birthday my little big boy. We love you more than you can imagine!

Monster Truck Rally Cake!

Chocolate and trucks, one of his many loves!

She made him a card that said she loved him and had Marvel characters on it!
