Even though I still call him baby Caleb, he is far from a little baby. We still have some moments that make me remember he is still only 3, well 3.75 as he is fast approaching 4 in April. JM has been working on a bunk bed for CMR's room for over a year. In May of 2008 we took down CMR's crib and put in a fast race car bed. His "big" boy bed. Oh the dreams he has had in that bed. The bed is every little boy's and grown up boy's dream. A race car!!! Still the car bed reminds me of how little CMR still is. The rails go up high enough that he can not fall out and he can jump in and out of it easily. This weekend JM finished the bottom portion of the bunk bed and is ready to put it in CMR's room. So that means we have to get rid of the race car bed. I did not except that it would be hard for me to change out the beds. It is a bit of the last part of his babyhood. We have slept in it together. We have talked in secret in it and we have held hands and gave big kisses in it together. So my baby is getting bigger and mommy is so proud of him. Big boy Caleb here he comes!!!
