In between the beds...

Day 2
Today started off funny…at 530am I here “mommy, mommy I need you” Caleb was calling me so I went into the room and I said Caleb where are you? He was not in the bed…he had fallen out of the bed in between the beds. I laughed and picked him up and we fell back to sleep.

We were able to tour a few places today. I was totally amazed at how much work had been done in each place we went. We were able to go visit Nielie with Rebekah and the family was so excited to see us all. That evening at church Caleb slept and RRR played with the kids outside. When the service was over RRR was on top of the ENALCE truck playing with the kids. It was great to be reunited with old friend in El Salvador and enjoy a service together.

Rebekah moment: RRR was going outside the church to go play with some girls that she has played with before, Nielie and Abby. Two girls from the community in Las Delicas. Shorty after she went to play with them she came back in and was upset because she thought the girls were making fun of her. When I explained that they were not making fun just trying to talk to her in Spanish she quickly asked me to come with her to translate. I no and told her a few words to say to the girls. By the end of the evening they were playing and talking just find. I was so proud of her.

Funny moment: When we went to visit one of the community gardens we where all carful to watch where we where walking. There where land minds of cow poop along one side of the path…in a moment I heard “oh no!!!” Caleb had saw the pile (or better yet mountain) and jumped right into it. He had a blast bouncing around from place to place.
