About a month ago the kids and JM brought home some caterpillars from VU. They where beginning their stage of becoming a cocoon. It was crazy, they cocooned and in a few weeks became butterflies. It seems like for ever. The kids where getting anxious as where we. On a Saturday morning they where butterflies. They where ready to be taken out of their safe place and fly.
This week reminded me of that gift. The gift that we where created to fly and that we all have gifts. There where some remarkable things that happened this week in the life of our family. Mostly that we love my sister and Hans. What great people they are and so much love to give! Love you guys. Second that God is using my gifts in the most amazing ways that I really don't have words to explain other than I am grateful.
I felt like the butterfly. JM took it out of the cage and it hopped onto his finger and then it spread its wings and in a few minutes it flew away, starting a new life of its own. God brings us through many of those kinds of stages through out our life time. It is up to us whether we fly or not. I'm trying to soar on wings of my Savior!!!
