Caleb Sayings

He Did
CMR: “Hey mom did you know that Jesus died on the cross.”
Me: “Ya, he died for you and me.”
CMR: “He died for me?”
Me: “Ya so that you and I can have a relationship with God. Jesus loves us SO much that he died for our sins.”
CMR: “Jesus died on the cross but now he is alive right!.”
Me: “Yep, he IS!!!”

White Boy Can Dance
Dinner at El Torrito Grill the other night with JM’s parents. We where all sitting and talking and Caleb was in his own little world…dancing between his chair and his dad’s chair. He loves Hispanic music and can not resist a good shake or two to it. He danced by himself (no one watching of course) until dinner came to the table. I was cracking up!

Donuts
CMR donut jar day: "Mom, I want the donut with the orange stuff" cake donut with orange glaze...in the car "mom, it's kind of like an orange!"

Girl Scout Cookies

My sister was buying Girl Scout cookies. She wanted the peanut butter ones (my fav.) MMP: “I’ll take those peanut butter ones.”
CMR: “Not those, they are for horses!”
MMP: “what?”
CMR: “See those are for horses.”

Brown Sugar
CMR: “Daddy do you know Ashley puts brown sugar on her cheeks?”
JMR: “No that’s make-up not brown sugar!”

Priorities
Me: “Hey Caleb come and clean up your mess.”
CMR: “I can’t!!!”
Me: “Yes you can, come here.”
CMR: “I can’t, I am going poo!!!”

More Please

CMR: “Mom can I have more mac-n-cheese?”
ME: “More, you want more?”
CMR: “Ya…I am the first bowl already.”
Me: “OK here you go.”
CMR: “Just dump it ALL in, Thanks Mom!”

Ahh A Coke
CMR poured himself some of JM's Coke, and then sat back and said "ahhh that's some a good Coke!!!"

This Morning
CMR: “Good morning mommy!” As CMR climbed into my bed today.
CMR: “open your eyes, it’s me Caleb.”
Me: “Good morning Caleb.” As I kissed his big cheeks
CMR “ hum mom…”
Me: “ Ya?”
CMR: laughing “I farted in your bed…hahahaha...and it stinks…hahaha!”

Green Eggs and Ham
CMR is enjoying reading this book on his own.
CMR: “I do not like those crazy looking eggs, green, and that weird looking ham. I will not eat it with a goat or in a tree or in a car. Sam I am. You might like it come on just try it. Sam I am. I do not like those crazy looking eggs and ham. I will not eat them anywhere. I will not eat them in a car or in a box or with a goat or in the ocean.

Those green eggs and ham, Sam I am. Ok I will try them. I LIKE THEM, Sam I am. I do like those crazy eggs and ham. Thank you thank you Sam I am!”
