Fishing...

Last Saturday we took the kids to Irvine Lake to go fishing. All the excitement of catching a fish and using a rod in the water got to them...the kids could barely sleep the night before. It was relaxing and fun. We spent 4 hours and did not catch one single fish until the magic worm arrived. A PINK PLASTIC WORM! JM put the thing on RRR's pink rod and cast it. He put the rod down adn sure enough two seconds later there was a fish tugging at the line. JM ran to catch the rod as it had fallen over and RRR brought it in. So much fun!!!





Caleb was next to get the second and last fish of the day. Earlier that morning JM cast Caleb's line first, gave him teh rod and Caleb turned to him 20 seconds later and said: "Hey dad where the fish?" then 5 seconds later "hey dad, are the fish coming today?" And so the wait for the fish began!



He was excited to finally catch a fish, play in the dirt and in the water. All-in-all it was a great day!!!
