Things Caleb says

Caleb: “Hey Dad, did you know that bees have sharp butts?”

Me: "Caleb you got a book to read?"
CMR: "Yep, I got Shicken Little!"
It's the Mexican in him!!!

Caleb: "Mommy I want to go to Starbucks to get water."
Ashley: "Hey Caleb did you know they have chocolate milk there."
Caleb: "THEY DO??? I want to go to Starbucks!"
Thanks Ash, now I have to get a cheaper drink !!!

Thought is was funny this morning when Caleb was walking around RRR’s school with a COKE can...everyone looked at me like I was a bad mom...Caleb had gotten the can off the counter and put water in it. He said he was like daddy!!!

Me: (on Halloween night) "Caleb, how much candy have you have already?"
Caleb "TOO MUCH!" (as he is holding a hand full on Hersey Kisses.)

Loved spending time with only Caleb this morning, we got breakfast for daddy, took cup cakes to a friend, drove around Vanguard saying "have a good day" to the students, then to the church and danced a little in the hallways as VU chapel worshiped! Then we talked and talked all the way to school. What a great morning!!!

Me: " Caleb you guys are being really noisy."
CMR "Mom, it's only one noise not a lot of noises...see the bell!"

Caleb: (last night while he was laying in bed) "Mom you have my Lizard food?"
Me:" You have a lizard?"
CMR "Ya..."
Pause...me thinking he actually has a lizard in his bed with him.
CMR: "You know where his food is?"
Me: "What lizard?"
CMR “The one I caught and then let go; I want to make sure I know where his food is for when he comes back!"

Me: "Caleb can you pick that piece of paper up off the floor?"
Caleb: "Nope, the vacuum can get it!"
Me: "And who do you think runs the vacuum?"
Caleb: "Um, you mom...ok, I will pick up the paper!" :)

Caleb (last night while in his room in bed): "Hey Dad is that you on the couch?"
Dad: "Ya."
Caleb: "You watching TV?"
Dad: "Ya."
Caleb: "You drinking a COKE?"
Dad: (laughing while holding his Coke) "Ya!"

Caleb saw that I forgot my cell on the table this morning and picked it up and put it in his backpack for me...what a great kid...except I did not know and now it is at school with him!!!
