Our walks

School has started and Caleb and I get ready to walk Rebekah to school. Caleb takes his bike and Rebekah and I hold hands while we walk to school. Today was the first time that we walked to school just the three of us. It was fun. Caleb stopped every 4 or 5 houses because he would get tired. Rebekah and I would hold are arms up so that he could ride under them. We said good morning to our neighbors and told them that we hoped they had a great day. Then 10 minutes later we got to school. We dropped RRR off and started our way back home...Caleb barely made it back because he said that his legs where too tired. But he did notice a lot of stuff like the trees and people's cars. And he knew the way home!!!

At 12:10pm we left the house to go back to pick up Rebekah from school...We should have left at 12:00pm as Caleb again got off course. He stopped to pick a "wishing flower" and blew it. He stopped to close our neighbors gate and then rode his bike right up to the teacher to get Rebekah. The teacher stood at the gate with Rebekah and asked where her parent was. She said "there is my brother" The teacher said "Where?" I pointed to Caleb and she looked confused. She asked Rebekah who I was and RRR said "that is my MOM!!!" and the teacher looked at Caleb then looked at me and smiled. We get that often!!! So we started on our way back home and Caleb fell off his bike in the middle of the cross walk, Rebekah ate her apple and told me about her day as we walked home and as we where almost home, only about 8 more houses, Caleb stopped! He stated that he could bike no longer! He was too tired to go anymore. So we walked back to get him and he took his shoes off, gave RRR his bike to ride home and walked the rest of the way with bare feet.

The adventures of walking to and from school!!! It was pretty great.
